Spare Igbo Traders, Kill Fulani Bandits - Igboho Orders Yoruba vigilante

Former Yoruba separatist leader Sunday Igboho has ordered members of his security group, the Iru Ekun Network, to eliminate anyone found armed and confirmed to be a bandit, stating that this is the only way to curb banditry.

The vigilante leader made these remarks during the presentation of members of his Iru Ekun Network in Ondo, where he said Igbo and Hausa traders are not Nigeria's problem.

He said, “Don’t fight innocent Igbo and Hausa traders. We are all Nigerians. But anybody who chose kidnapping as business, threatening our collective peace, kill them all”.

According to him, Fulani terrorists who are arrested and handed over to the police are released; those who do end up in prison return to terrorize innocent citizens once freed.

“The only way we can curb banditry is that anyone found with arms and confirmed a bandit should be killed,” he said.
